Boyoung Ashley Yeum is an associate in the firm's electrical engineering group. Her practice currently focuses on patent prosecution of U.S. patent applications and client counseling for companies ranging from startups to large multi-national corporations. She has experience in the fields of software, computer networks, cyber security, firewalls, automotive, motors, optical systems, medical devices, semiconductors, circuits, and virtual and augmented reality technologies.

Ashley has over six years of intellectual property experience. Before joining the firm, she worked at a large global law firm for more than five years practicing patent preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications, managing international patent portfolios and instructing foreign patent counsels, conducting due diligence and patent landscape analyses, providing support for litigation matters in U.S. district courts and before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and drafting opinions on validity and infringement issues.
